Returns and refund Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2025

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Oddly Wild. If you are not, we will be happy to help you with a return or a refund, subject to the conditions below.

Our policy has two parts to ensure clarity and compliance with UK consumer law: the right to cancel an order and the right to a refund for faulty goods.

1. Your Right to Cancel (The 14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

As a consumer, you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order for any reason and without a justification within 14 days.

  • Cancellation Period: The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you, or a person you have nominated, receive the goods. If your order is delivered in separate shipments, the 14 days begin from the day you receive the last item.

  • How to Cancel: To cancel your order, you must clearly inform us of your decision. You can do this by sending an email to hello@oddlywild.co.uk. You do not need to provide a reason.

  • Effect of Cancellation: If you cancel your order within the 14-day period, we will refund all payments received from you, including the original delivery costs. However, please note that we are only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option.

  • Returning the Goods: You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notified us of your cancellation. You will have to cover the direct cost of returning the goods. The item must be in the same condition you received it, with tags, and in its original packaging. You are allowed to handle the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would in a physical store. We may deduct from your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by unnecessary handling.

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

This policy is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under this law, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@oddlywild.co.uk so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • Short-term Right to Reject: If a fault appears within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund. We will also cover the cost of return postage for faulty goods.

  • Repair or Replacement: After 30 days but within six months of delivery, we have the right to repair or replace the product once. If the repair or replacement is not successful, you are entitled to a full refund in most cases.

  • Final Right to Reject: After six months, a refund may still be possible, though the burden of proof may shift to you to show the item was faulty at the time of purchase.

3. Refunds and Exchanges

  • Refunds: Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please be aware that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.

  • Exchanges: The fastest way to get the item you want is to follow the return process for your original item, and once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
